Pet Policies
King's Family Campground
appreciates the fact that many campers like to travel with
and share their camping experience with the family pet.
However, to help insure the safety and enjoyment of all
guests of King's Family Campground, you must read and abide
by our pet policy as outlined below. Failure to do so
may result in you being asked to leave the park.
- Pets of any breed
showing aggressive behavior are not welcome. Any
pet that is noisy, dangerous, intimidating or
destructive will not be allowed to remain in the
campground. Certain breeds of dogs have been identified
by our insurance provider as having history of
unfriendly and aggressive behavior to both dogs and to
humans. These breeds are Pit Bulls and Pit Bull
mixes, Rottweilers, Chows, Dobermans, Wolfs or Wolf
mixes. Please DO NOT bring these breeds, as
they cannot be on our property.

- Pet owners MUST
provide proof of Rabies shots, vaccinations and tags for
all pets upon registering
- Pet waste must be
picked up (no matter when they relieve themselves in the
campground) and properly disposed of in trash
receptacles.
- Pets are to be under
the control and visual observation of their owner at all
times. A leash is required (preferably 6 feet or
less in length) whenever the animal is outside your
camping unit (tent, camper, RV, etc.). This
includes early morning or during the night.
-
No
pet should be left tied up and unattended outside the
owner's camping unit. Pets are not to be tied to
trees, shrubs, water hydrants, electric drops, picnic
tables, shelter facilities, etc.
- Allowing your pet to
bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted
- Pets are not permitted
in any buildings or within the beach area. This
includes shower/restroom areas, laundry area, and
office/store.
- Pets must be confined
in the owner's camping unit during quiet hours (11pm to
8 am).
- Pet owners will be
held responsible for the actions of their pets and will
pay for any and all damages to property, buildings, etc.
caused by their pets.
- Any structure for
confining pets outside your camping unit must be
collapsible so it can be removed when you are not
camping at your site.
- Visitors and/or guests
MAY NOT bring pets into the campground. Pets are
allowed for registered transient and seasonal campers
only.
